PokeLoupe ("we", "us", or "our") provides Pokemon TCG marketplace listing inspection tools. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use PokeLoupe.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Billing Information
- Account information: email address, name, profile details, and authentication metadata provided during registration.
- Payment information: subscription and billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number.
1.2 Saved Inspection Data
- Followed cards: cards you follow so PokeLoupe can build your inspection queue.
- Favorite listings: eBay listings you save for later review.
- Rejected listings: listings you hide or reject, including optional reasons you provide.
- Avoided sellers: seller names and related rules you create to keep future queues cleaner.
- Inspection context: listing URLs, item IDs, listing titles, seller names, prices, listing type, photo counts, and related card references.
1.3 Usage and Device Information
- Pages visited, features used, search queries, filters, and interaction patterns.
- Browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, IP address, and logs.
- Outbound click events to eBay, TCGPlayer, or other marketplace pages.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for login, preferences, and analytics.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve PokeLoupe.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts.
- Process subscription payments and billing receipts.
- Personalize followed-card queues, saved filters, rejected listing history, and avoided seller behavior.
- Measure product usage and troubleshoot broken listing or marketplace links.
- Monitor reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party providers that may process information on our behalf:
- Clerk: authentication and account management.
- Stripe: subscription payments and billing.
- Resend: transactional and support email.
- PostHog: product analytics and usage measurement.
- Sentry: crash reporting and performance monitoring. We configure scrubbing for authorization headers, payment details, and sensitive account fields.
4. Marketplace Data and Clickouts
PokeLoupe retrieves public marketplace data from sources such as eBay, TCGPlayer, and 130point.com to show card references and listing context. Server-side marketplace data requests do not include your account information, saved review history, or avoided seller list.
When you click an outbound marketplace link, that marketplace may receive information according to its own privacy policy. PokeLoupe may log that clickout so we can measure usage and troubleshoot listing links.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to run PokeLoupe, when legally required, to protect users or the public, or in connection with a business transfer.
6. Data Retention
- Account records are retained while your account is active.
- Saved inspection data is retained while your account is active unless you delete or restore individual records where those controls are available.
- Billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
- Security and diagnostic logs are generally retained for up to 90 days.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your information. To make a request, contact us at the email below. We will respond within 30 days where required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
PokeLoupe is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post material changes on this page and update the date above.
